Every year the stake has a campout just for Fathers and their sons! Last year was the first time all 6 boys in our family went! So, again, this year off they went to 'sleep in a tent' as Nathan says! They were all excited for a night with a fire and dirt! They had a good time and came home exhausted! It was a good break for Mom, too! We get to have a girl's night at home which is a lot of fun for us, too!
After they got home from camping, they got busy and made a cake for the Cub Scout dinner and cake auction! It was to be a father-son creation so Gordon decided on an orange cake that would look like a basketball! They had fun making it together--Gordon was excited because he learned how to break his first egg into the batter!
We enjoyed dinner and even little Katie had a great time--she couldn't get a big enough smile to prove it!!!

Wow - if you guys were still here in MN, our Katies would get mixed up in Nursery! They look so much alike!
